Time Management

Time Management

The way you distribute your daily 24 hours shouldn’t be a random thing. Instead, your time management should reflect your priorities in this game - if you need some cash in the short term, you’re advised to spend more hours on working; if you want to earn more money later, you’d better spend more time in the Library; if a military carrier is what you dream of, then you should save more hours for the Training Grounds; and if your Happiness is low, and you want to improve it for free faster, spend more hours chilling out. In the end, you have the opportunity to draft your own development in eRepublik. But as a young citizen it is probably better to distribute your time more or less evenly until you learn more about the game, your actual interests and the best opportunities in your eCountry.

Still, it is important that you perform all 4 actions (“the four clicks” – work, train, study, relax), beacause each action will give you 2 experience points every day and experience points are necessary to level up faster. Also, don’t forget that some actions require a higher minimal number of hours, otherwise you won’t be allowed to perform that action – you can’t work less than 4 hours, study less than 2 hours and train less than 2 hours. For example, if you worked, trained relaxed already and you have only one hour left for the Library, you won’t be allowed to study and that hour will be lost.

Since the new food consumption rule was applied and we can eat several pieces of food every day now, it is probably better for young citizens to not chill out more than 1 hour (only to get the 2 experience points and the 2 Happiness points) and to spend more time at work instead - with the extra money you earn you should be able to buy food to improve your Happiness. This way you support your local economy, you gain some extra skill points and you might even save up some extra money if you’re lucky wink
